John's Bikes
1994 Honda Pacific Coast
Somewhat of a cult bike, the PC800 was one of the first to be covered with plastic bodywork. It has a two cylinder V-twin 3-valve, twin plugged water cooled engine, completely covered up. The rear of the seat raises to expose a storage compartment big enough for a large helmet and bag of groceries. It's a carburated motor design, as well as a fairly heavy machine [580 pounds]. The exposed body pieces can be easily damaged even in a driveway tipover, and are expensive to replace, but the PC800 is one of the smoothest and comfortable distance bikes I have ever piloted.
