1984 Laverda RGS executive

1000cc three cylinder Italian beauty. A refinement of the Jotas of the 1970's, this model features a 120 degree crankshaft [instead of the original 180 for the Jotas] and electronic ignition, but otherwise is the same durable air-cooled triple. There were three RGS versions [as well as an RGA earlier], and this model features removable saddlebags, a 1/2 length fairing, and a gas filler behind a door in the fairing. High quality, very fast and like all later Laverdas, not a casual ride.
