Shutter testing - we test your old shutter and report on accuracy of speeds. $20 plus return shipping. Free for lenses we sell. Note that ALL lenses, even new ones, give shutter speeds other than what is written on the dial. And the older the shutter, the slower it may be - but still a good user. The lenses we personally use the most are all around a hundred years old.

If you looking for more formal shutter repair, we have recommendations, too.

Film holder testing: We check the old (or new!) ones for light leaks. We may need your camera along, too, if we don't have one that size. $20 for one, $8 each additional plus return shipping. We do some repairs.

Camera testing: we check large format cameras for light tightness and alignment, etc. $35 plus return shipping.
